By introducing and regularly up-dating our Quality Management System, a firm foundation has been laid, to continuously improve the service offered to our clients.
The pursuit of a high quality of service for our clients is essential to the long-term growth and survival of the business. In pursuing this policy, we believe in the concept of client and company working together and using the feedback obtained for continual improvements in quality and efficiency.
In order to ensure Conlon's service is of the required quality, the Company involves all staff members and the objectives are communicated as widely as possible. Practical assistance and training is given, where necessary, to ensure that the knowledge and experience required is acquired for the successful implementation of this policy.
The company seeks to achieve the above aims by maintaining an effectively managed Quality Management System which recieved BS EN ISO 9001:2000 accreditation in December 2003.
The Quality Management System covers the whole of Conlon's business, i.e. property development, all construction works including design & build projects and our in-house bespoke joinery manufacture, from initial invitation to tender through to site completion and maintenance and is subject to internal audit and review by mangement on a systematic basis.
Further evidence of Conlon's commitment to quality is shown in our accreditation as an Investor in People. This standard has brought real benefits to the company in recent years through significant improvement in employee communication, involvement of staff in the business plan process and investment in training and development.
Conlon Construction Ltd is also recognised as a Chartered Building Company. Such companies are traditionally run by professionally qualified managers who are experienced in all aspects of the building process and all of our directors are qualified members of relevant chartered institutions, as are the majority of our senior staff.
